Oral surgery can relate to chewing, functions of the organs in the mouth, jaw bones and face which are caused by tooth diseases such as severe infection, protruding jaws, shortened jaws, misshaped jaws, tooth implant, artificial tooth root surgery, vesical treatment, tumor in the mouth, treatment for fractured jaw bone, pain in the joint of jaw bone, inflammation of nerve ending in the facial area, bone transplant for abnormal area, treatment for sleep apneas, surgery for cleft lip and other types of facial impairment, and surgery to prepare the mouth for dentures.
